Once you go dark...

I have it on Supernova for now.
Seems similar to what I'm used to and I like the layout and color notifications.

Didn't like dark at all, but I'll try it for a day or so, and decide from there.

All of the others are horrific. LOL

You can look for phpbb themes and if you find one you like I can install it.

I use the Elegance theme. The dark theme with white text hurts my eyes and leaves a memory when I look away. The Elegance colors are very similar to what I uses on my Schwinn forum.

Blue is even lower than ghey elegance theme.

I like dark. It works better with my farsightedness and astigmatism. I always use dark/night mode on my phone.
