Since there is no forum for NYC primaries, I'll post this here. NYC has their mayoral primary today and they have what I think is a muzzie running. Whatever he is, he is a socialist. Results should start coming in at around 8:45.

And it is about finished, Zohran Mamdani is so far ahead I don't see how Cuomo can catch him.

It's ranked choice so if he doesn't pull in 50% then it goes to the ranked choice scheme and they just keep eliminating last place candidates and redistributing their votes until there's only two left, and then whichever of those two has the most votes wins. This probably is not going to be decided for a while.

I had heard that term used but was puzzled, I didn't know that NY was a ranked choice state. Maybe they can dodge a bullet here.

Cuomo conceded even though muzzie didn't get 50%. He's talking running third party now. That'll be interesting with Adams also running third party.

Certainly not in the primary. He may do better in a general if he's not splitting votes with multiple other independent candidates.
