What you don't see is PVT Zeke has 2 en blocs of Black tip and 2 en blocs of Silver tip Lake City reserved for those who have body armor ...

Very nice. Was never able to pick up the Carbine. Really missed a great chance in 1985 when Woolworths (IIRC) had them for $ 149 or $ 199.

I THINK it was maybe a Woolworths in the Concord Mall that had them in the back corner of the store, in racks, anybody could pick them up and check them out unsupervised.
I wish the same as you but I think I was only about 7 yrs old !

Picked up my Garand in March and am a newb, so reading and watching as many videos as I can find to learn.

What make ? Springfield , Winchester, International Harvester or Harrington and Richardson ? That a fine looking stock .

She's a Springfield and the stock was replaced by the CMP.
