New user jumping in

Post by justoldjoe »

Hi Folks, nice to see the dedication to develop this site. Thanks to all who made the commitment. So anyway I 'was" justoldjoe' on pafoa years ago and changed it to something else after a bit.

I've been shooting/hunting for about 65 years now and found the lags/delays and the excess of all the non topic junk on pafoa quite cumbersome. Perhaps the slowness had something to do something to do with 8000 guests vs 80 members. Not sure.

Anyway Nice weather to shoot and todays choice was my west German sig p228 and one of my edc which is a Kahr MK9. That is totally one sweet shooter. And lucky me I have my own range here in upper bucks.

So I'll see if I got this started right. Have a great day.

Welcome to the dark side. We still don't have cookies though.

Welcome Joe! Fellow Upper Bucksonian here.

Nice that you have your own range. I regret not having enough land for that. I kind of do but the neighbors are too close. They probably wouldn't care but too much potential liability. Luckily our range is a mile and a half away as the crow flies.

Enjoy the new POOFA and keep on shooting!

Welcome oldjoe. I think I'm the least patient person on the world and the lag and errors on PAFOA was really aggravating the voices in my head so I don't do much over there. This site is lightening quick by comparison.

Nice to see some familiar names/voices again. I'm going to have a learning curve for a bit, but I'll get it figured out.

Anyway getting the garage cleaned out this morning...Ha! My work table in the garage has turned into a storage table again. So I can see the table top again. I even made a sign on the wall that says "this is a work table-DO NOT use for storage. I should pay attention.

Then out to the range. And that is one of a kind. It was a lime kiln "back in the day" before we bought this place 50 years ago. Still have a bunch of the cooked (white) rocks that were baked in there.

And going to give the ol Kahr another workout this afternoon. Perfect weather!

Yeah, I need to clean mine off too. I have a lot of workbench out there and it's all storage now, including my welding table. I need some kind of help. :ugeek:

I haven't seen my workbench in months. The only reason I know it's still there is because the stuff hasn't fallen to the ground.

My issue is lack of storage. I have lots of stuff, but very little storage.

Every flat surface associated with working space on my entire property has a bunch of shit on it.
