Smaller EDC Recently

Post by Zeke2A »

I don't know why , chalk it up to laziness on my part but I've been carrying my .38 LCR OWB more and more recently instead of my Beretta PX4 9mm EDC . The Ruger is so light it's barely noticeable on my hip . Drop two speedloaders or speed strips in my pocket and I'm good to go . Could be the weather as well because all I need is a hoodie and the Ruger is concealed. I guess once it finally gets colder I'll switch to the Beretta .
I don't feel undergunned with the Ruger but it wouldn't be my first choice for a extended firefight .

Anyone else running a lighter than normal EDC ?

I'm due to switch out to my P7 for winter because I have a shoulder holster for it and it conceals well.

I pocket carry my Kahr P380 much of the year in a talon holster. Loaded with buffalo bore, it’s pretty hot.

I got the same holster for my Sig P365, but it’s kind of bulky that way. If I have shorts on, it seems to swing beck and forth like a pendulum.

Going to get another talon for my Kahr PM9 and try that. It’s much lighter and flatter than the 365 fully loaded.

After having belly hernia surgery, I really dislike belts now and have switched to suspenders. Probably will be getting overalls for work for comfort.

Still ruger 57. I was spotted a couple days ago in home depot when I was getting stuff off a shelf causing my sweatshirt to lift up. There was an indian couple about 20' away in their late 20's and their eyes were laser focused on my mid region. I thought maybe I forgot to zip and tiny tim had escaped. I put my arms down and covered up and continue'd on my way.
