Re: Maintaining a S&W Nickel Revolver

I do not recall seeing anything in the manual, but I will look again.

Maintaining a S&W Nickel Revolver

Before shooting this, I was wondering what I need to do special to keep the Nickel at 100% and not damage the Nickel.

I normally used Break Free for cleaning and a silicon cloth for wiping it down for Blued and Stainless revolvers and automatics.

Much appreciated!

Re: My EDC's

EDC was a SIG P226 and P228 for years. As support for the traditional P series went away, I decided to switch to HK. Currently the HK P2000SK holds the EDC title.

Re: Water Purification

We have a deep well for H20. As long as we are staying put I don't have a need for anything. Having a backup pump is something perhaps to add. If we would become mobile for some reason, then adding some type of H20 purification makes sense. Water purification pills should do the trick if on the move.

I like it. What other WW2's pistols do you collect?
